* * * SORRY - NO CREDIT CARDS * * *

PAY-AS-YOU-PLAY — It may be to your advantage to consider our Pay-As-You-Play Plan. (Single, $350; Family, $400.) Either plan will allow credit for one league.

For more information, click the Pay-As-You-Play tab.

Special Plan for the Frequent Golfer — The Pay-As-You-Pay Plan

Upon payment of a $15.00 fee, a ledger card will be issued, upon which all future greens fees will be credited. Each greens fee paid will be added to your ledger until a total of $350.00 has been reached, after which time no more greens fees need be paid for the season. There is no further obligation if the total is not reached. League fees may be applied toward this total, but from one league only.

The Family rate is $400.00 and each member of the family must have his or her own membership and ledger card. Children attaining the age of 18 on or before the official opening of the season will no longer be considered eligible to participate in the Family membership. However, any unmarried college student still financially dependent upon the parents and maintaining residence in the home of the parents may request the Student Plan. To be eligible, the student must be - or have been - accepted for membership in the GENESEE HILLS GOLF CLUB. This Student membership is $95.00 + dues for the season.

NOTE: League credit does not apply to the Student Plan. If you wish to receive credit for greens fees previously paid for the season, you MUST sign up for the Pay-As-You-Play Plan within two weeks of your initial registration for the season.

GREENS FEES CAN BE PAID-IN-FULL IN ADVANCE AT A SAVINGS OF $15.OO, WITH CREDIT FOR ONE LEAGUE.

Children under the age of ten must now pass a written and playing test to play WITH an adult from opening 'til 3:00 P.M. on WEEKDAYS. Youngsters 14 and 15 may have the same privilege by passing a written test. Those 16 need no longer be tested. Those who are 17 before the official opening of the season will now be eligible for the special rates from dawn 'til 3:00 P.M. on WEEKDAYS.

A player 18 years of age must have his or her own membership. Membership applications should be turned in at least TWO years in advance of the 18th birthday.

All Juniors must have a parent's card number and will be permitted to bring one guest. Fee will be the same as for adults except during the special hours.

PARENTS: When registering your children under 18, be sure to specify age and use JR. or JR. GUEST in place of the membership number to avoid paying guest fees.

TWILIGHT

There are twilight rates in the hope of enticing you to discover this lovely and less-crowded time of the day on week-ends and to compensate for league traffic on week-days. NOTE: You don't necessarily pay for nine holes at twilight; you pay for whatever light allows.

RAIN-OUT POLICY

If you sign for 18 holes and play only nine you will be refunded the difference in cash.

Registration Information

WHEN CROWDED, PRE-ARRANGE YOUR FOURSOME OR WE'LL PAIR. IF YOU SIGN FOR SOMEONE, YOU MUST PAY THE FEE AND KNOW THE MEMBERSHIP NUMBER! To get a score card number, you need 1/2 or more of your group STANDING AT THE DESK READY TO SIGN IN or ONE MAY SIGN IN HIS OR HER GROUP BY KNOWING ALL MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS AND PAYING ALL FEES- - Again, THANK YOU FOR CALLING TO SEE HOW BUSY IT IS!

We hand out starting numbers in advance of registration for twilight and children registering on Sunday, BUT ONLY ONE NUMBER PER PERSON. - - WHEN PLAYING EIGHTEEN HOLES, YOU MUST KEEP YOUR PLACE OR RISK LOSING YOUR TURN ON #10. WHEN THE GROUP AHEAD LEAVES THE GREEN, YOU MUST BE READY TO TEE OFF IF THERE ARE OTHERS COMING BEHIND YOU. If you are NOT ready, you will automatically lose your turn and will have to apply to the Pro Shop or Starter to find out when - or if - you may resume play.

During the week, you can't eat and plan to resume play on the 10th tee. It MAY be possible to play the back nine first, eat, and get a number to tee off on #1. ASK- -

18-Hole players have the right-of-way over Twilight players.

Leagues

League schedules will be available around May 25 and will show tees open from dawn 'til 7:45 A.M. or later; 10:00 A.M. 'til 3:00 P.M. and after 6:00/6:30 P.M. This is the worst scenario. On several days MUCH more time is available.

THERE ARE NO LEAGUES ON MONDAY AND FRIDAY MORNINGS. Call (810)694-9809 'til schedules are ready. Do check the morning-league schedule.

In sponsoring an applicant for membership, a member is indicating willingness to assume responsibility for the character and likely conduct of the applicant in so far as these attributes may be of concern to the Club.

NOTICE: Sponsors must be at least 21; members must be at least 18.

Golf Carts

FOR YOUR SAFETY, do NOT drive carts over the steep hills and bluffs which surround many greens and tees. Doing so could result in the cart rolling over and causing probable injury, and perhaps, even DEATH!

Do not ride three/four! Players on cart. Carts are not designed for more than two players. People riding on the front cowl may be flipped over the front of the cart. People riding on rear fenders may be thrown off or have legs caught in the wheels. People riding on the back risk being thrown off the cart, too. ANY of these practices are strictly FORBIDDEN!

KEEP CARTS 30 FEET FROM GREENS.

The green is one place frequented by ALL golfers. Carts being parked in close proximity to the green cause severe wear areas. Nobody appreciates having to chip from these wear areas. - Follow cart directions and direction arrows.

The less you follow another person's cart tracks, the fewer roads/paths created on the course. When paths are created by cart tracks, they must be graveled or roped. So - SPREAD OUT THE CART TRACKS. Heed the FAN-OUT signs! - Always apply the parking brake when you leave the cart. - Do NOT drive carts through ditches. You will be charged for any damage.

Carts should be returned to club house before dark as there are no headlights and night-driving could be very hazardous. - DO NOT LET CHILDREN DRIVE CARTS! ONLY LICENSED DRIVERS MAY DRIVE CARTS. - Be sure to report any damage you see on your cart BEFORE you go out because you are financially responsible for any damage you do to the cart.

Stay away from tees and greens with your cart. Carts are wearing out the course; careless and thoughtless use of carts is ruining the course.

Drive carts with care and maturity.

All rain-caused cart refunds will be pro-rated at $.75 per hole. Golf is one thing; wear and tear on golf carts and gas-usage is another.
